Custom property management solution for future upgrade as the needs of the client company increase.

The challenge

Our customer LBF, was facing an increasing demand in property evaluation contracts when they turned to us for a help in developing a custom property management software. Their previous way of documenting properties was inefficient and time consuming and above all, the final outlook of the property reports was impossible to generate in one coherent template.

The solution

Upon evaluating the customer needs the Axeltra‘s team comprised of business analysts and project managers proposed a solution that would satisfy all the immediate client needs yet be flexible for future feature upgrades.

We chose to build the application on top of the ExtJS library. The result was an appealing user interface with a capability of generating multiple sets of property reports customized for clients, managers or property owners.

The solution is a combination of a document management software and CRM (customer relation management) software. This comes from the following features: realestate tab - detailed property listings aimed for better classification and organization; customer tab – listing of all the customers with the necessary information; address book and contacts – for easier categorization of the contacts, from the company and outside of it; question groups – for adding and listing work related questions.

Benefits

When analysing the usage of the application a year later and upon a discussing the further issues together the client we estimated that our application increased the time efficiency for a staggering 70% in the property management documentation process.

This increased efficiency came from the many improved activities in LBF’s everyday working manifested through better organization of the collected data, more accurate results, work transparency and faster response to customer needs.
